The dress that started it all.

Father's Day was approaching, and I needed a classic sailor dress for a portrait my six year old daughter wanted to do for her Daddy. I assumed it would not be easy- and I was right. One of my grown daughters visited from college and told me I should check out Shein. I had no idea what she was talking about, and I was doubtful.

I was utterly shocked to see how HUGE their selection of classic-vintage style dresses are. They were so affordable, and I ordered a few that day- including the sailor dress. Once I could see and feel the dresses, I knew I would like more. My little girls closet was transformed that month. She was receiving compliments constantly, with an air of nostalgia. Her confidence grew with each cute dress. I then decided to try and make matching accessories for under $3. Once I pulled that off, it became a passion of mine.
